  • WILLOW WORKSHOP SAT 3rd APRIL 2010
We had a good day at this interesting and informative event; the willow structures turned out really great! The weather held out too - even though it did threaten with hailstones!
The living willow structures are a fabulous addition to the pond area. See the pictures below.
  • OPEN DAY CONFIRMED FOR 13th JUNE 2010 - mark your calendars!

  • OPEN DAY 14th JUNE 2009
The Open Day was a great success - the weather was very kind to us which helped bring visitors out and encouraged them to stay! Visitors enjoyed the displays and stalls; a big hit was the archeological dig - where kids were allowed to get their hands dirty without getting in trouble!
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to the success of the day by setting up/clearing up, exhibiting, visiting or donating. Thanks also to RSPB, Drumbowie School, Falkirk District Association for Mental Health, Central Scotland Police, Auchinlay Dog Agility Group and the demonstrators in Willow Weaving, Wood Turning and Birds of Prey.
  • NEW HEDGEROW
We have now completed the new hedgerow at the East entrance gate, with the help of a grant from Falkirk Environment Trust. This will improve the landscape and provide a more consistent habitat for wildlife.
